Job summary

Ruppert Landscape Co. offers a 10- to 12-week Landscape Install Internship designed to give you a hands-on view of field operations and branch management. You will rotate through hands-on training, shadow key departments, and work with a dedicated mentor to build practical skills and industry insight.

You will gain exposure to field production, office workflows, and real projects while developing teamwork and professional practices for your future career.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Actively pursuing a degree in Horticulture, Turf Management, Agribusiness, Business Management, Operations Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
• Interest in working in a team-oriented, customer-focused industry with a willingness to support a variety of operational needs.
• Comfortable working in both office and outdoor field environments.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds as part of routine job duties.
• Proficient in computers and common software including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in multiple areas of field operations.
• Shadow teams involved in Project Management, Estimating, Sales, and Operations to understand daily workflows.
• Work with an experienced mentor who provides feedback and professional development.
• Develop leadership, etiquette, communication, and management skills for future roles.
• Collaborate with interns and professionals on meaningful projects and team-based tasks.
