Qualifications

• Valid California Class C driver's license is required.
• Experience with grounds maintenance and landscaping is preferred for higher level.
• Ability to operate hand and power gardening tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns, trim hedges and prune trees using hand and power tools to maintain neat grounds.
• Collect leaves and debris using rake and collection equipment to keep grounds clean.
• Plant, irrigate, and care for landscaped areas to sustain healthy environments.
• Inspect and perform basic repairs to sprinkler systems to ensure proper water distribution.
• Maintain gardening tools and equipment, conducting basic repairs as needed.
• Apply herbicides and insecticides using appropriate PPE and safety practices.
• Drive Districts vehicle to various work locations to transport tools and materials.
