Job summary

SPLENDORA INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT in Splendora, TX is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain and improve the district's grounds and athletic fields. The role involves mowing, landscaping, field prep for games, and routine maintenance of irrigation and facilities.

Responsibilities include following maintenance plans, operating grounds equipment, and ensuring safety while performing outdoor work in all weather conditions. Must have High School Diploma or GED and a valid Texas driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Texas Driver's License is required.
• Minimum of 2 years grounds/maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Mow and detail district grounds, including athletic fields.
• Follow scheduled maintenance plan for lawns, trees, shrubs and flowers.
• Plant shrubs and vegetation.
• Assist with athletic field prep, including chalking fields.
• Collect and dispose of leaves, dirt, rubbish, and refuse.
• Assist with inspection, repair, and installation of sprinkler systems.
• Operate grounds equipment and maintain safety procedures.
