Job summary

Ruppert Landscape is a commercial landscape construction and management company that values its family-owned, employee-owned culture. The Field Manager oversees labor, materials, and daily production on maintenance contracts and snow removal projects.

You will coach crew members and ensure projects stay within budget while maintaining strong client relations. Responsibilities include planning daily activities, monitoring hours and costs, and promoting safety and quality on every site.

Qualifications

• Management experience with teams at multiple levels.
• Experience working with service customers.
• At least one year in contract maintenance in a commercial setting.
• Two- or four-year horticulture related degree with two years industry experience or substitutions.
• Ability to diagnose plant health issues and schedule treatment.
• Knowledge of vehicles and equipment used in maintenance and snow removal.
• Valid driver's license with clean record in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise daily production activities on contracts.
• Develop understanding of branch goals and financial position.
• Coach and evaluate staff; monitor progress and provide feedback.
• Attend or conduct regular certification training sessions.
• Monitor job hours, costs, and budgets; communicate budgets to crew.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure service quality.
• Inspect work daily and complete property service reports.
• Sell extras through tickets (T&M).
