Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is hiring a Small to Medium Engine Mechanic in Indianapolis to repair and maintain landscape equipment, trucks, and trailers. You will diagnose engine, electrical, and hydraulic issues and manage preventive maintenance programs across branches.

The role requires hands-on welding and fabrication skills, with a focus on cost-effective repair decisions and inventory control within a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience.
• Knowledge of 2- and 4-cycle engines.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair 2- and 4-cycle engines.
• Repair fuel, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and schedule repairs with branch teams.
• Weld and fabricate for repairs or modifications.
• Maintain parts room and inventory control.
