Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC in Ohio is seeking a skilled Small to Medium Engine Mechanic to repair, maintain, and improve landscape equipment, manage parts inventory, and support branch maintenance programs.

The role requires hands-on experience with 2- and 4-cycle engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, welding and fabrication, and light truck/trailer service. A High School diploma or GED is required; CDL eligibility is a plus. Pay ranges from $19 to $22 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience.
• Experience with 2- and 4-cycle engines.
• Able to use mechanics’ tools and basic electrical/hydraulic knowledge.
• CDL eligibility preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain landscape equipment and trucks/trailers.
• Diagnose engines, electrical, hydraulic and fuel systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and schedule repairs.
• Manage parts room and inventory.
• Coordinate with branch personnel for maintenance.
• Document repair orders and track equipment history.
