Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in New Jersey is seeking a Crew Leader to supervise a 2+ person crew for landscape enhancement and maintenance, focusing on soil, planting, watering, and insect control while meeting client standards.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and coordinating schedules; a CDL and supervisory landscaping experience are preferred. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of landscape install experience.
• Minimum 1 year of lawn care and landscaping; supervisory experience desired.
• Minimum 1 year experience managing a 2+ person crew.
• CDL with a good driving record.
• Able to read architectural drawings.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and provide hands-on leadership/guidance for soil, planting, watering, and insect control.
• Ensure that client standards are met while maintaining operational efficiencies.
• Drive and maintain vehicles, train crew members with strong emphasis on safety, manage schedules, and review charts and reports.
