Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking an Enhancement Manager to schedule and direct personnel and resources for quality enhancement services. You will support Account Managers in estimating, design, and client meetings, and may sell enhancement services with or without base maintenance contracts.

The EM oversees a commercial landscape portfolio with multiple service teams and trains staff through day-to-day scheduling and guidance. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (min 2 years) in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of prior customer service, management, and leadership experience within an organization, the landscaping industry, or local marketplace.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Obtain and maintain a PLANET Certification (Installation of Hard and Softscapes)

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs via regular communication with the Account Manager(s)
• Manage all landscape enhancement services, including coordination of materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors
• Inspect properties before scheduled service to prepare a specific action plan
• Understand irrigation systems, identify repairs or adjustments, and communicate recommendations
• Monitor all aspects of the landscape and identify insect or disease problems
• Perform hands-on work with crews to meet work and scheduling demands
• Implement and enforce BrightView policies related to upkeep, storage, and training for equipment
• Identify staffing needs, hire crew members, and prepare daily crew schedules with Branch Manager
• Ensure proper paperwork for employee changes and hires
• Communicate with, counsel, train, discipline, review, and develop growth plans for employees
• Hands-on training and support of crew members, including operation of equipment, pruning techniques, safety, and quality standards
• Focus on safety and monitor safety records
• Maintain administrative systems (time sheets, job databases, service schedules)
• Order materials and monitor costs and deliveries
• Request purchase orders and use per guidelines
• Assist Branch Manager in enhancement sales tasks
