Ruppert Landscape is hiring an Enhancement Field Manager for Landscape Maintenance. This role oversees labor and materials in the field, develops crew members, and ensures projects meet time and budget targets. Collaboration with other field managers helps achieve branch goals.

The role requires strong scheduling, budgeting, and vendor negotiation skills, plus CDL-A and English fluency. Competitive salary and benefits are offered in Montgomery County, MD, with operations across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Experience managing others at some level.
• At least one year of enhancement or landscape installation work in a commercial setting.
• Two or four-year horticultural or related degrees; and two years of industry experience; substitutions allowed.
• Experience making hard and live material purchases and negotiating best price.
• Knowledge of basic computer operation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license with a clean three-year record.

Responsibilities

• Develop a clear understanding of branch goals and financial position.
• Develop and coach crew members; set goals and monitor progress.
• Attend or conduct regular certification training sessions.
• Plan, schedule and supervise daily production on enhancements.
• Understand budgets and monitor hours and costs; communicate budgeted hours to team.
• Meet the client on each job.
• Inspect work daily and secure completion forms.
• Sell extras using T&M tickets.
• Maintain assigned vehicles and equipment in good condition.
• Monitor daily AM/PM procedures for the crew.
• Complete daily time entries.
