Halff is seeking a Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer to join our Planning & Landscape Architecture team in Richardson, TX. The role requires 3+ years of professional experience and a strong proficiency with AutoCAD, LandFX, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite to support parks, trails, urban design and land development projects.

The ideal candidate will work across all design stages, coordinate with engineers and planners, and contribute to master planning and project delivery while growing

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in landscape architecture projects such as parks, trails, urban design, and land development.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, LandFX, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver landscape architecture and planning projects.
• Guide design teams through all stages from concept to construction.
• Produce CD sets with hardscape, planting, construction details, and specs.
• Develop construction methodologies and project implementation plans.
• Manage multiple projects with varying scales and budgets.
• Communicate with clients and prepare proposals and presentations.

Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer II - Richardson, TX

Halff is seeking a Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer to join our growing multi-disciplined Planning & Landscape Architecture team in Richardson, TX. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of experience working on the following project types: parks, recreation and trail planning and design; urban park, plaza, streetscape and transportation enhancements; land development; and support for large scale planning projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment to help clients plan, design and implement projects. What You Will Do

• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of landscape architects, planners, engineers, and others to provide landscape architecture and planning projects.
• Work with design teams and consultants through all design stages from concept through construction.
• Foster and promote a positive, team-oriented environment and office culture.
• Production of CD sets including hardscape, planting, construction details, specifications, and bidding packages.
• Construction methodologies and implementation.
• Manage multiple projects of various scale and complexity simultaneously.
• Anticipate the needs of clients and projects.
• Communicate effectively through various media.
• Ability to produce projects within stated deadlines and budgets.

What You Will Need

• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of experience in Landscape Architecture.
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications including AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent design skills.
• Be well organized, detail oriented, and highly motivated.
• Experience in master planning of parks, trails, and recreation is a plus.
• Ability to travel periodically, primarily in state, to support project needs.
