Job summary

Halff is seeking a Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer II to join our Richardson, TX team. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in parks, recreation and trail planning and design, urban park, plaza, streetscape and transportation enhancements, and land development.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to move projects from concept through construction, produce CD sets, and support client needs, with opportunities for professional growth and potential ownership in

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of experience in Landscape Architecture.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team of landscape architects, planners, engineers and others on landscape architecture and planning projects.
• Work with design teams through all stages from concept through construction.
• Produce CD sets including hardscape, planting, construction details, specifications and bidding packages.
• Understand construction methodologies and oversee implementation.
• Manage multiple projects of varying scale and complexity.
• Anticipate client and project needs and communicate effectively.

Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer II - Richardson, TX

Halff is seeking a Landscape Architect / Landscape Designer to join our growing multi-disciplined Planning & Landscape Architecture team in Richardson, TX. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of experience working on the following project types: parks, recreation and trail planning and design; urban park, plaza, streetscape and transportation enhancements; land development; and support for large scale planning projects. What you will do:

• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of landscape architects, planners, engineers, and others to provide landscape architecture and planning projects.
• Work with design teams and consultants through all design stages from concept through construction.
• Foster and promote a positive, team-oriented environment and office culture.
• Production of CD sets including hardscape, planting, construction details, specifications, and bidding packages.
• Construction methodologies and implementation.
• Manage multiple projects of various scale and complexity simultaneously.
• Anticipate the needs of clients and projects.
• Communicate effectively through various media.
• Ability to produce projects within stated deadlines and budgets.

What you will need:

• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of experience in Landscape Architecture.
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer applications including AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent design skills.
• Be well organized, detail oriented, and highly motivated.
• Experience in master planning of parks, trails, and recreation is a plus.
• Ability to travel periodically, primarily in state, to support project needs.
