Our client is a development and design firm in Florida that specializes in site planning, landscape, and engineering services. Their team is now looking for a Landscape Designer.

Salary/Hourly Rate

$70k - $75k

Position Overview

The Landscape Designer should be able to efficiently plan and organize their workload with their team, demonstrate success working with a team of professionals, a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities Of The Landscape Designer

• Design of public spaces (parks and recreation, urban streetscapes, etc.), site development, municipal facilities and right-of-way improvement projects. Tasks include document preparation for landscape, irrigation, hardscape, wayfinding, and lighting design.
• Public Engagement.
• Cost Estimating.
• Local regulatory permitting as Landscape Designer
• Preparation of technical specifications and bid documents.
  
  

Required Experience/Skills for the Landscape Designer:

• Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, architecture or urban planning is required for Landscape Designer
• 2+ years of experience in the landscape architecture field.
• Familiarity with landscape architecture design software, such as AutoCAD, Land F/X, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, MicroStation, ArcGIS, Lumion, and Sketch-Up.
• Experience with AutoCAD is required.
  
  

Preferred Experience/Skills for the Landscape Designer:

• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Strong sense of urgency, project responsibility and initiative.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills as Landscape Designer
  
  

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or Urban Planning is preferred.
