Founded by Charles “Randy” Randolph, LandZen serves Sonoma County with landscape design and construction services tailored to create unique outdoor living spaces.
Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Landscape Designer to join LandZen, a fast-paced Sonoma County-based landscape and design company. As a key team member, you’ll be responsible for designing, estimating, and selling residential landscape projects, engaging from inception to completion. You should excel in landscape planting/design for small to large residential and commercial projects. Your impact will be felt in contributing to sales, managing accounts, presenting the company to clients, delivering exceptional customer service, and participating in business development. Additionally, you will prepare landscape plans, create construction details, and collaborate with the design and construction teams. Estimation duties include accurate quantity take-offs and gathering subcontractor proposals. You will oversee project construction, manage budgets, and provide excellent customer service. Also, you will confer with clients and manage change orders. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly organized, creative, calm under pressure, an effective communicator, and efficient. Licensing in Landscape Architecture is a plus, along with a proven design/sales track record, attention to detail, time management abilities, Northern California horticultural knowledge, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch-ups and MS Office desired. This is not a remote position.
Qualifications
BA/AA in Landscape Architecture or Horticulture
2-4 Years of experience
Must be willing to work full-time at our office. This is not a remote position.
