Job summary

Schill Grounds Management is seeking a Landscape Crew Member to assist the Crew Leader in executing landscape plans. The role may focus on maintenance or enhancement, with flexibility to perform either task as directed by supervision.

Essential duties include operating commercial mowers, trimmers, and blowers; performing equipment maintenance; planting, sod installation, pruning, and completing landscape installations as needed. Snow removal is required in winter.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Availability for varied schedule including weekends.
• Able to pass drug/alcohol test.
• Valid driver’s license preferred, with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist Crew Leader in executing landscape plans.
• Operate landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers).
• Perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Pickup trash and debris as needed.
• Plant, lay sod, trim, and prune as required.
• Complete hardscape projects and outdoor lighting as needed.
• Perform landscape and lawn installations as needed.
• Support snow removal during winter months.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
