Job summary

Pinnacle Landscaping in Columbus, OH is seeking a Landscape Crew Leader for weekly pay. You will lead landscape projects from a plan, manage crew, and handle materials and paperwork.

You’ll operate equipment, drive a commercial vehicle, supervise snow operations in winter, and develop long-term client relationships. Two years of crew-leading experience and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience leading landscape crews.
• Advanced mowing equipment experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record to meet fleet insurance standards.
• Previous experience setting up commercial mowing sites is preferred.
• Strong computer skills and ability to adapt to new software programs.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 60 pounds consistently.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects such as hardscapes, commercial landscape maintenance, and installations from a landscape plan.
• Manage the entire scope of projects including layout, materials, and required paperwork.
• Use equipment including skid steer, mini excavator, sod cutters, and hand tools.
• Drive a commercial vehicle and pull a trailer.
• Lead, develop, and communicate with your crew.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
• Supervise snow operations during winter including managing crews and quality control.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

As a Landscape Crew Leader at Pinnacle Landscaping, you must be able to perform the following essential functions of the job:

• Execute projects such as hardscapes, commercial landscape maintenance, and landscape/lawn installations from a landscape plan.
• Manage the entire scope of our projects including job layout, materials, and required paperwork.
• Use various equipment including skid steer, mini excavator, sod cutters, bush hogs, brick saws, transits, and various hand tools.
• Drive a commercial vehicle and pull a trailer.
• Manage, develop, and effectively communicate with your crew.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with our customers.
• Supervise a snow zone during the winter including managing crews, location, and quality control.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Two years of experience leading landscape crews

Must have advanced mowing equipment experience

WORK CONDITIONS

Employees performing this job should be able and willing to drive or travel locally if needed. Schedules for this position may vary and may require flexibility to work extended hours. Potential work hours during the snow season include nighttime, weekends, and holidays to participate insnow removal activities. This position will require working outdoors in various weather conditions including rain, snow, sun, extreme cold, or heat.
