Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Crew Leader to directly supervise a field crew, ensure safety, efficiency, and quality of landscape maintenance work on site. You will develop and train crew members, plan assignments, and coordinate with the Operations Manager to meet client needs.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, equipment maintenance, site inspections, and maintaining safety protocols while ensuring customer satisfaction and timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Ability to communicate in English; bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
• Ability to train others and exercise leadership skills.
• Dependable and punctual; hours vary with weather/season and job needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills for conflict resolution.
• Able to plan, organize and direct a team efficiently.
• Capable of safely operating and maintaining landscape equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise crew on job sites, ensuring safety, quality and timeliness.
• Develop and train crew members; plan and assign work.
• Maintain materials and equipment; monitor inventory and maintenance.
• Coordinate with management on schedules and specifications.
• Inspect sites weekly and address punch lists and client concerns.
• Communicate with clients as outlined in plan and follow up on needs.
• Maintain safe working conditions and enforce safety guidelines.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Two years landscape maintenance experience

State Technician and/or Applicator license preferred
