Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Crew Leader to supervise a landscape crew on job sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and on-time delivery of quality work. The role involves developing and training crew members, planning, assigning, and directing tasks, and managing materials and equipment while addressing client needs.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of landscape maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to obtain relevant licenses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of professional landscape maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current State Technician and/or Applicator license preferred but not required.
• General knowledge of irrigation systems.
• General knowledge of horticultural and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a crew on job sites and ensure safety, quality, and timeliness of work.
• Develop and train crew members; plan, assign, and direct work.
• Manage materials and equipment; oversee maintenance and availability.
• Address and resolve customer issues and communicate with clients.
• Follow and enforce company safety guidelines and procedures.
• Coordinate with management to create schedules and follow job specifications.
• Inspect sites and ensure compliance with expectations and punch lists.
• Identify process improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Communicate with clients per the communication plan.
