Nature's Perspective Landscaping, Inc. in Evanston, Illinois, is seeking a reliable Landscape Construction Laborer / Crew Member to join our construction team.

This hands-on, outdoor role requires teamwork to build quality landscapes for residential and commercial clients in Chicago and the North Shore. Responsibilities include site prep, grading, drainage, and base installation, along with installing and demolishing patios and walls.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hardscape construction, masonry, or outdoor labor required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical outdoor work.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation, excavation, grading, drainage, and base installation.
• Support installation and demolition of patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
• Follow project plans and crew leader instructions to ensure quality and safety.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation, excavation, grading, drainage, and base installation for landscape projects
• Support the installation and demolition of patios, walkways, and retaining walls
• Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
• Follow project plans and crew leader instructions to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hardscape construction, masonry, or outdoor labor required
• Experience with plant installations, bed renovations, soil preparation, transplanting, and mulching is a plus
• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors and lift up to 50 pounds
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
• Basic measuring, drainage, grading, or construction tool experience is helpful
• Strong English communication skills; Spanish language skills are a plus
• Reliable transportation required; valid driver's license preferred but not required
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States

Compensation

$20.00 – $28.00 per hour, based on experience. Overtime pay available.
