Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Landscape Construction Estimator to review plans and prepare bid information for commercial landscape and irrigation projects. The role entails gathering take-off data, preparing routine and detailed estimates, and maintaining price information from suppliers and subcontractors.

The position requires experience with HeavyBid, Procore, PlanGrid or similar software, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and strong communication skills to operate in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in landscaping or construction with estimating.
• Experience with HeavyBid (HCSS), Procore, PlanGrid, or similar estimating software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

• The Landscape Construction Estimator reviews plans and prepares bid information for commercial landscape and irrigation projects.

• Prepare routine estimates and detailed cost estimates for ancillary projects under the supervision of the manager
• Maintain current and accurate information on prices from suppliers and subcontractors
• Utilize standard estimate computer software to present information to management
• Demonstrate role model behaviors on ethics and integrity

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Prior experience in the landscaping industry or construction, with estimating and managing landscape and irrigation projects
• Experience with Heavy Bid (HCSS), Procore, PlanGrid, or similar estimating software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Customer service experience
• Proficiency with On-Screen Take-Off (OST)
• Strong work ethic with the ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and perform in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands/Requirements

• Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment, such as alaptop, acell phone, and printers/copiers
• Position is sedentary; must be able to remain in a stationary position for a majority of time
• Ability to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur

Work Environment

• This role works in an indoor office work environment.

Compensation Pay Range

65,000-75,000
