Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Landscape Construction Estimator to review plans and prepare bid information for commercial landscape and irrigation projects. You will gather take-off data, prepare routine and detailed estimates, and maintain supplier price information.

Experience with Heavy Bid, Procore, PlanGrid, OST, and the MS Office suite is essential. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Prior landscaping or construction estimating experience.
• Experience with Heavy Bid (HCSS), Procore, PlanGrid or similar estimating software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Proficiency with On-Screen Take-Off (OST).
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

• The Landscape Construction Estimator reviews plans and prepares bid information for commercial landscape and irrigation projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Gather, calculate, and compile take-off data for use in bid proposal estimates
• Prepare routine estimates and detailed cost estimates for ancillary projects under the supervision of the manager
• Maintain current and accurate information on prices from suppliers and subcontractors
• Utilize standard estimate computer software to present information to management
• Demonstrate role model behaviors on ethics and integrity

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Prior experience in the landscaping industry or construction, with estimating and managing landscape and irrigation projects
• Experience with Heavy Bid (HCSS), Procore, PlanGrid, or similar estimating software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Customer service experience
• Proficiency with On-Screen Take-Off (OST)
• Strong work ethic with the ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and perform in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands/Requirements:

• Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment, such as alaptop, acell phone, and printers/copiers
• Position is sedentary; must be able to remain in a stationary position for a majority of time
• Ability to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occur

Work Environment:

• This role works in an indoor office work environment.

Compensation Pay Range:

65,000-75,000
