Job summary

Onyx Corporation is seeking a Landscape Construction Assistant Project Manager in Acton, MA to support Project Managers with daily organization, planning, and documentation, ensuring safety, on-schedule progress, budget adherence, and workmanship quality.

This role involves reviewing drawings and plans, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors, maintaining records, assisting with cost tracking, and helping prepare monthly invoices and submittals for architects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with landscape experience or equivalent and 2+ years landscape PM experience.
• OSHA certification required or preferred.
• Experience with Bluebeam or similar PDF editors preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with daily project organization and documentation.
• Review plans, specifications, elevations, grades, and construction details.
• Track project quantities, production, materials, trucking, and equipment.
• Maintain daily reports, project documentation, photographs, and field records.
• Assist with quantity takeoffs, change orders, and project cost tracking.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project teams.
• Participate in project meetings and assist with scheduling and coordination.
• Assist in sourcing, tagging, pricing, and procuring plant and hardscape material.
• Assist in reviewing, coding and approving vendor/subcontractor invoices weekly.
• Send out Submittals and RFI’s as needed to architects.
• Assist in preparation of monthly AIA invoices based on work completed.
