Air Comfort, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and execution of residential landscape construction projects.

The role splits time between office administration and active field support, roughly 50/50, designed as a development path into a full Project Manager within 18–24 months. Under a senior PM, you will own scheduling, invoicing, documentation, and subcontractor coordination while spending meaningful time in the field ensuring

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including client-facing updates.
• Proficiency with project management software and Google Workspace.
• Ability to read and interpret landscape construction plans and specs.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules, work packets, and documentation from sale through close-out.
• Create and maintain Gantt charts with the PM.
• Draft and send purchase orders, change orders, and subcontractor confirmations.
• Prepare and send project invoices at milestones.
• Manage work orders and dispatch in Aspire.
• Coordinate material deliveries and logistics for non-site deliveries.
• Track labor hours and production against estimates.
• Maintain project files, photos, and logs.
• Support AR follow-up and escalate overdue accounts to Finance.
