Job summary

Thomas & Hutton is seeking a senior Landscape Architect to lead a team through all phases of project delivery in Savannah, GA. Responsibilities include managing concept-to-construction projects, developing sustainable designs for parks, commercial, and master-planned communities, and building strong client relationships.

You will collaborate with clients and consultants, oversee budgets and schedules, and mentor staff while ensuring compliance with permitting requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
  • Professional Landscape Architect license (PLA/RLA) required
  • 8–10+ years of experience in landscape architecture design and project management
  • Experience across multiple project types (e.g., parks, commercial, mixed-use, master planned communities)
  • Strong knowledge of site planning, entitlement processes, and permitting requirements
  • Experience with project budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a design team
  • Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
