Job summary

Thomas & Hutton is seeking a Landscape Architect to join their team in Savannah, Georgia. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing landscape construction documents, support design development, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. This role requires a degree in Landscape Architecture and 0–5 years of experience.

Qualifications

Job description

What you'll do:

• Assist with the preparation of landscape construction documents, planting plans, and site layouts
• Support design development, concept planning, and graphic visualization efforts
• Contribute to reports, cost estimates, specifications, and technical exhibits
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout all phases of project delivery
• Assist with site planning, land development coordination, and permitting support
• Participate in design reviews and coordination with senior staff
• Utilize design software such as AutoCAD/Civil 3D, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program
• 0–5 years of professional or internship experience in landscape architecture or a related field
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or Civil 3D, SketchUp, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong organizational, communication, and graphic presentation skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Internship or prior office experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast‑paced environment

Portfolio Submission

• Must submit a portfolio demonstrating design experience and understanding of the design process
• Portfolio should include representative work such as planting plans, site layouts, renderings, and graphic presentations
