Job summary

At AtkinsRéalis in Atlanta, GA, a Landscape Architect Intern is invited to join the team for hands-on design development and graphic support. You will help prepare construction drawings for landscape and site design, including grading and hardscape, and assist during the construction phase with coordination and site visits.

Must be pursuing a Landscape Architecture degree and have completed 60 hours toward it in an ABET-accredited program; basic CAD/graphics software skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have completed 60 hours toward a Landscape Architecture degree from an ABET accredited program by start of internship.
• Basic computer skills to enter data into spreadsheets or databases.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp/Rhino, Photoshop and InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Assist in landscape feature design development and illustrative presentations.
• Prepare construction drawings for landscape and site design including layout, grading and hardscape.
• Provide support during the construction phase, site visits and ensure design intent is maintained.
• Support project teams in designing projects of varying scales and types.

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Landscape Architect Intern to join our Atlanta, GA office. Your Role Project feature design development and Illustrative presentation graphic support Prepare construction drawings for both landscape and general site design including layout, grading and hardscape Provide support during the construction phase of landscape architecture projects, including coordination with contractors, site visits, and ensuring design intent is maintained. Support project team members in the design of projects of varying scales and types.

About You

EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in Landscape Architecture

Education

Must have completed 60 hours towards a Landscape Architecture degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).

Special Skills

• Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases.
• Basic understanding of AutoCAD, SketchUp/Rino, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $22 - $28 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
