AtkinsRéalis is offering a Civil Engineering Intern position in our Atlanta, GA office, seeking candidates currently pursuing a civil engineering degree.

Responsibilities include field data handling, records management, basic drafting, and creating presentation materials; no prior experience is required for students in related degree programs, starting Summer 2027.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program and have completed 60 hours by the internship start (Summer 2027).
• No prior experience required for students in associated degree programs.

Job Description Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join our Atlanta, GA office.

Your Role

• Gather, logs and summarizes field notes or other data to be used by technicians or professionals in technical studies or projects.
• Establishes and maintains records or files of technical fata or documents.
• Performs mathematical calculations.
• Performs various routine drafting and CAD assignments.
• Assists in the preparation of graphic displays and presentation materials.

About You

EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.

EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).

SPECIAL SKILLS: Must have basic AutoCAD skills and basic stormwater modeling skills.

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
