Qualifications

  • Experience with urban park stormwater management facilities, development reviews, and computer programs (AutoCAD, GIS, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam).
  • Experience designing urban parks, public spaces, recreation facilities, and playgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Review development projects and provide design recommendations.
  • Coordinate with planners on development guidelines, park master planning, and private development review processes.
  • Manage projects, consultants, and contracts.
  • Develop scopes of work, schedules, conceptual plans, designs, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and track expenditures.

  • Facilitate civic engagement processes.

  • Experience with urban park stormwater management facilities, development reviews, and computer programs (AutoCAD, GIS, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam).
  • Experience designing urban parks, public spaces, recreation facilities, and playgrounds.
  • Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI) certification.
  • Landscape Architecture License or Certified Arborist designation.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
