Gothic Landscape in Hayward, CA is seeking a Landscape Maintenance Account Manager who builds client relationships, leads field operations, and develops teams to deliver high-quality service for commercial accounts.

You will identify growth opportunities, develop proposals, and work with branch leadership to improve retention, quality, growth and profitability. The role is based in Hayward and offers $80,000-$95,000 salary plus annual bonus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial landscape experience, with client and crew management preferred.
• Proven success managing a large portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts.
• 2-3+ years of experience training and managing multiple landscape crews.
• 3+ years of customer service, sales, account management, or related experience.
• Strong consultative selling skills to identify opportunities and sell additional landscape services.
• Strong written and verbal communication for proposals and bids.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with branch leadership.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial landscape clients through consistent communication, responsiveness, and exceptional service.
• Lead field operations including morning dispatch, workload planning, performance management, coaching, and addressing employee or customer concerns.
• Develop your team and manage performance and coaching.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and prepare proposals and bids.
• Network within the market to generate referrals and new business.
• Grow the branch's contract base within targeted markets and geographic areas.
• Collaborate with branch leadership to achieve goals related to customer retention, quality, growth, employee development, and profitability.
• Serve as trusted advisor by understanding client needs and proactively recommending solutions.
