Job summary

GA Telesis is seeking a Landing Gear Technician- Plater in Medley, FL to disassemble, clean, inspect and restore landing gear components to airworthy standards using plating and polishing processes.

You will read engineering drawings, follow OEM repair manuals, and ensure FAA compliance while maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Prior experience with aircraft assemblies and plating is preferred, with required 1–3 years related experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school education or equivalent and 1 to 3 years of related experience
• 1+ years of experience removing and restoring aircraft assemblies
• Experience assembling aircraft/aerospace parts, components, and/or assemblies using drawings, specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing plans
• Ability to construct, install, dismantle, relocate, modify, and/or repair OEM equipment of all types

Responsibilities

• Perform polishing, honing, and/or plating of landing gear parts using specialized tools and equipment
• Follow tolerances and OEM repair manuals to restore parts to airworthiness standards
• Plate tanks safely and efficiently
• Ensure FAA regulations, company policies, and safety procedures are followed
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements for repairs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Other duties as required
