Job summary

Landing Gear Technologies (LGT) is a FAA-Certified Repair Station specializing in repair and overhaul of aircraft landing gears. Plating Technicians perform maintenance and machining tasks, inspect tools, and maintain clean, compliant work areas to support high-quality parts production.

Ideal candidates will have FAA/EASA experience and chrome plating know-how, with the ability to read blueprints and follow strict data.

Qualifications

Must read, comprehend, and communicate in English.
Experience operating equipment and performing maintenance/machining per technical drawings.
Prior experience in FAA/EASA Certificated Repair Station operations.
Chrome plating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and alteration tasks, including machining on civil aviation articles per current data and FAA/EASA guidance.
Ensure familiarity with tools and equipment used in the area of responsibility.
Accurately record work performed on appropriate maintenance records.
Identify and match parts by number and serial number.
Operate degreaser and comply with cleaning requirements for components.
Prepare parts for masking or stop-off for plating and sandblasting.
Sandblast parts for plating or other required operations.
Perform non-electrolytic processes like Alodine and passivation of small parts.
Transfer chemicals safely using various pumps; follow Environmental and Safety guidelines.
