Job summary

GA Telesis Landing Gear Services in Medley, FL, seeks an experienced Landing Gear Technician-Polisher to join our team. The role focuses on building and tear-down of landing gears and components, reporting to the Shop Supervisor, with emphasis on high-quality alterations to meet airworthiness standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of related experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read and follow engineering drawings and OEM specifications. Eligible applicants must be U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years in related field.
• 1+ year experience removing and restoring aircraft assemblies.
• Experience assembling aircraft parts following drawings, specs, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, and inspect landing gear components for wear, corrosion or damage.
• Polish various landing gear parts using specialized tools and equipment.
• Follow OEM repair manuals and tolerances to restore airworthiness.
• Read engineering drawings and retrofit requirements to perform structural modification/repair.

We are seeking an experienced Landing Gear Technician-Polisher to join our award-winning team with a focus on the building and tear-down of various landing gears and components. Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the ideal candidate will use their experience and knowledge to perform high-quality alterations. This role is based in Medley, FL.
**Important Notice: Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Disassemble, clean, and inspect landing gear componentsfor wear, corrosion or damage.
• Perform polishing ofvarious landing gear parts, including cylinders and pistonsusing specialized tools and equipment.
• Follow strict tolerances and OEM repair manuals to ensure parts are restored toairworthiness standards.
• Operate machinery such as lathes, hones, grinders, and plating tanks safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Reads and interprets engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modification/repair.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school education or equivalent and 1 to 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1+ years of experience removing and restoring aircraft assemblies.
• Experience assembling aircraft/aerospace parts, components, and/or assemblies using applicable drawings, specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing plans.
• Possess the ability to construct, install, dismantle, relocate, modify, and/or repair OEM equipment of all types.
