Polknature is seeking a Landfill Maintenance Technician located in Winter Haven, Florida. The role involves general maintenance and repair of landfill operational machinery, including mechanical and electrical systems. Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have at least three years of maintenance experience, and have the ability to diagnose and repair machinery. Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited high school or possess an acceptable equivalency diploma.
Must have three (3) years maintenance experience or equivalent vocational training.
Must have a valid driver’s license and/or be able to secure a valid Florida driver’s license at the time of employment.
Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance and repair of landfill equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems related to leachate and gas management.
Maintain records and data related to maintenance activities and reports.
