Job summary

Lewis and Clark County Public Works is seeking an Equipment Operator – Landfill to support operations at the landfill and related transfer sites. You will operate heavy equipment (compactor, scraper, loaders), water and haul trucks, and assist with hauling tasks from Marysville, Augusta, and Lincoln Transfer Sites.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a schedule that may include weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate heavy equipment (compactor/scraper/loaders)
• Ability to follow safety procedures and protocols
• Experience with hauling and transfer-site logistics preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (compactor, scraper, loaders) to support landfill operations
• Operate water trucks and haul trucks (roll-offs, tilt deck, semis)
• Haul waste and materials to Marysville, Augusta, Lincoln Transfer Sites
• Work schedule may include weekends/holidays and may change as needed
