Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. seeks a Landfill Field Technician to support landfill gas collection and control systems. The role is field-heavy with travel to sites and optional Raynham, MA or Peabody, MA offices.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining gas systems, data collection at wellfields, small construction support, and ensuring safety procedures. A high school diploma and valid license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-10 years of related field experience.
• Mechanical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to exert physical effort (up to 50 pounds).
• Ability to work outdoors ~90% of each workday.
• Ability to walk over steep/rough terrain daily.
• Must wear PPE per Health and Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain landfill gas systems.
• Collect data from wellfield extraction and monitoring locations.
• Perform valve/vacuum adjustments, data collection, maintenance.
• Interpret field data and assist with small construction projects.
• Use PVC/HDPE piping and related equipment for piping systems.
