WSP USA is seeking an On-Call Solid Waste (landfill) and CCR CQA Engineering Technician in Michigan. The role involves landfill and CCR CQA observation, monitoring, and testing of earthen and geosynthetic containment systems for diverse facilities.

Responsibilities include field monitoring, soil density testing with a nuclear gauge, geosynthetics testing, and accurate documentation. Travel is extensive, and safety is a priority at all times.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• GCI-ICP certification or ability to obtain.
• MDOT Soils/Concrete field testing certifications or ability to obtain.

Responsabilidades

• Field monitoring, testing, and sampling of soil and aggregate materials.
• Use of a nuclear gauge and drive cylinder for soil density testing.
• Geosynthetics monitoring and testing.
• General construction observation and documentation.
• Interpreting construction documents to confirm projects meet approved plans.
• Generating complete, accurate documentation using electronic systems and field notebooks.
• Travel up to 90% and work outdoors in varying conditions.
