Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution seeks an associate attorney in California to support a busy land use, zoning, and CEQA practice. The role combines entitlement strategy with writ litigation, offering meaningful responsibility and direct involvement in high-impact matters across the Greater Los Angeles area.

The position features a hybrid schedule with in-office collaboration two days per week, clear advancement potential, including a partnership track for strong performers.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar admission in good standing.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• 3 to 15 years of relevant land use, zoning, CEQA experience.
• Litigation experience with writs of mandate and appellate briefing.
• Strong writing, analytical thinking and professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Advise on land use entitlement and administrative processes, including zoning analysis.
• Conduct land use due diligence and prepare written analyses for clients.
• Draft letters and submissions to decision makers and agencies.
• Attend and support administrative hearings and related proceedings.
• Handle writs of mandate and related land use litigation tasks, including briefs.
• Support CEQA strategy and documentation with the matter team.
