Job summary

Continental Resources, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Land Technician I to support the Land Department with administrative and technical tasks under supervision. You will learn industry terminology, procedures, and systems while contributing to team efficiency.

Responsibilities include preparing and tracking documents, entering land data, and assisting with invoice processing. This role offers growth in oil and gas land processes and requires a proactive learner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Some prior land/oil & gas experience preferred.
• Pre-employment background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, submitting and tracking proposal letters to partners.
• Prepare contracts, JOAs, oil and gas leases, assignments and related documents.
• Enter and maintain land contract and well record data in designated systems.
• Review and code invoices to the appropriate AFE and seek approvals.
• Learn basic ownership calculations for wells.
• Maintain accurate data in land systems for reporting to stakeholders.
• Follow company policies and SOPs to complete tasks compliantly.
• Communicate with other disciplines to ensure project execution.
• Other duties as assigned.
