Position Summary: Conducts all administrative surveys and surveys as a licensed Professional Land Surveyor, needed to meet the needs of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe.

Position is open until filled.

This position is a grade E15; salary is $70,570.00 annually.

Education And Experience

• Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have a Current State of Colorado Professional Land Surveyors License.
• Must have 6 years of experience in land surveying.
• Must have 3 years of computer experience with a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Must have 3 years of experience creating plats.
• Must have experience and knowledge of the cadastral surveys in accordance with the Bureau of Land Management methods.
• Must be able to make clear, concise and effective verbal and written presentations and reports.
• Must sign confidentiality agreement.
• Must have valid Driver’s license for state of residency and be insurable under the Tribal Vehicle Insurance Policy.
• Must pass a thorough criminal history background check and pre-employment drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of the Southern Ute Indian Reservation boundaries and ownership of land within the outer boundaries of the Reservation.
• Be C‑Fed Certified or capable of becoming certified.
