Job summary

Dynamic Engineering is seeking a Survey Intern to support land surveying tasks and data collection for field crews and project teams. You will assist with site surveys, boundary and topographic work, and the preparation of survey files and field notes.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years in surveying, a High School diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Flexibility in start times and the ability to operate company vehicles are required for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or Surveying preferred.
• 0-2 years’ experience in surveying
• Must have flexibility in daily schedule start times, particularly early mornings
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to maintain and operate personal and/or company vehicle

Responsibilities

• Perform selected survey assignments, quickly and accurately.
• Perform a variety of surveys including site surveys, boundary, topographic, plot plans, roadway utility and subdivision plans.
• Preparation and set-up of survey files for field crews.
• Prepare field notes and organize field equipment.
• Conduct grade sheet computations.
• Deed and Filed Map Research for Boundary Analysis.
• Topographic/As-built Surveys and/or Boundary Survey Sketches.
• Preparation of Metes & Bounds Descriptions.
• Project Datum Conversion/Transformation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
