Benesch's Connecticut Division is seeking a Land Surveyor to join the Civil Engineering team. You will perform field data collection, staking activities, prepare survey drawings, and interact with clients and internal teams.
The ideal candidate has 8-10+ years of surveying experience, with expertise in topographic field work, boundary calculations, and plat creation, plus proficiency in Civil3D and ALTA/ACSM surveys. CT PLS certification is required.
Join Benesch's Connecticut Division as a Land Surveyor. As part of our Civil Engineering team, you will provide various field data collection and staking activities, prepare survey drawings, and work directly with internal/external clients.
The ideal candidate will have over 8-10+ years of surveying experience, showcasing expertise in various aspects such as topographic field work, construction inspection surveying, support for field personnel, earthwork volumes assessment, drone data collection, boundary monument searches, office data reduction, scheduling assistance, Recorder's Office research, boundary calculations, plat creation, and legal description drafting. Proficiency in boundary work, specifically with right-of-way plats, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, Boundary Plats, and Easement Plats, is highly desired.
This position will be for an office position from our Glastonbury office with potential for hybrid work schedule.
