Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Land Survey Project Manager near Irvine, California. You will oversee survey technicians and boundary reviews across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring project quality and timely delivery.

The role blends field leadership with office coordination to drive success. The ideal candidate holds a California P.L.S., a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Survey, and at least five years of PM experience in surveying, with proficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Survey is required.
• California P.L.S. certification is required.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in field with office exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor survey technicians and field crews.
• Oversee boundary reviews and management of projects across city, county, and state levels.
• Prepare proposals and support business development while maintaining client relationships.
• Coordinate field and office activities to ensure project milestones are met.

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Land Survey Project Manager near Irvine, California. The person for this role will be overseeing survey technicians, boundary survey reviews, across various city, county and state projects.

Responsibilities

• An entrepreneurial spirit in bringing on new clients and maintaining client relationships.
• Field and office experience in land surveying.
• The ability to manage projects in the field and work in the office.
• Prepare and review the proposals, act as a mentor to other technicians and field crew chiefs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or Survey.
• A California P.L.S.
• Proficient in Civil3D and AutoCAD.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a project manager in the field with office experience.
• Experience in Topographic surveys, As-Built surveys, Right-of-Way Surveys, GPS Surveys, Construction Staking, etc.
• Strong knowledge of municipal engineering principles, practices, and methods.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, other departments, contractors, and stakeholders.
