Job Description :

Pennoni is seeking a Land Survey Crew Chief for our Raleigh, NC office with experience consistent, but not limited to :

Job Responsibilities :

• Take instructions and follows directions.
• Lead survey crew in executing field surveys accurately and efficiently.
• Supervise other survey crew members in proper surveying techniques and equipment operations.
• Provide survey crew leadership in vehicle, instrument and equipment care and maintenance.
• Develop thorough and accurate field notes, survey reports and calculations.
• Proactively provide routine communications to supervisors and administrative support staff

Job Requirements :

• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• A minimum of 5 years survey experience with Survey Crew Chief experience.
• Proficiency with field survey instruments including robotic total stations and GPS.
• Route, boundary, and topographic survey experience.
• Proficiency using laptop computers and data collection software.
• Must be a self-starter and work with little guidance.
• Must be able to work independently or as part of a survey crew as required.
• Must be available to travel and work overtime occasionally.

Preferred Attributes :

• Associates Degree in Land Surveying or Civil Engineering Technology
