Job summary

Portland General Electric seeks a Property Rights Specialist to secure land rights, permits, and property interests for transmission, distribution, and generation initiatives. You will work with customers, landowners, agencies, and internal teams to support project development and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include acquiring easements and licenses, handling permitting strategies, and performing due diligence with GIS and mapping tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, finance, law or related field.
• 5+ years in commercial real estate or related field; ROW, land use and permitting preferred.
• Experience with contracts, title work, surveys, and due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Acquire property rights (easements, rights-of-way, permits, licenses).
• Manage permitting and regulatory compliance activities.
• Coordinate surveys, title work, and mapping for projects.
• Prepare legal descriptions, exhibits, and property documents.
