Job summary

The Hire Flux is seeking an experienced Land Development Team Manager, P.E. to lead a growing land development practice in Pittsburgh, PA. You will oversee project delivery, mentor staff, manage client relationships, and drive business growth from concept through construction.

The ideal candidate is a licensed P.E. with strong land development expertise, proven leadership, and a track record of coordinating multidisciplinary teams and complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• 10+ years of land development engineering experience.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong client relationship management and business development experience.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proven project management with budget and schedule responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, designers and technical staff.
• Oversee all phases of land development projects from planning to construction.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, scope and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and pursue opportunities.
• Provide QA/QC reviews of plans and reports; ensure standards compliance.
• Coordinate with municipalities, regulatory agencies and utilities.
• Lead RFQ/RFP responses, proposals and client presentations.
