Job summary

Kier & Wright in Escondido, CA seeks a Project Manager (Land Development) to lead assigned projects, managing clients, the project and the team from concept through construction.

This role requires a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years land development with a PE license or 8+ years without PE, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bluebeam. You will coordinate permitting, QA/QC, and mentor junior staff while building client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years land development with Professional Engineering License, or 8+ years land development without PE.
• PMP certification a plus.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bluebeam required.

Responsibilities

• Lead project initiation and planning, budget, schedule, and team management.
• Coordinate client and stakeholder communications; manage permits and regulatory compliance.
• Perform QA/QC and ensure design outputs meet standards.
• Support entitlement processes and construction cost estimation.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development activities.
