The position requires five years of civil engineering experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and proficiency in land development design, site layout, grading, utilities, and stormwater management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• At least five years of professional civil engineering experience.
• Experience with land/site development design and municipal projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of private Site Development and municipal civil engineering projects.
• Oversee the preparation of Land Development plans and construction documents.
• Complete site layout, grading, utility and stormwater-management design.
• Prepare technical specifications, calculations and engineering reports.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets and technical deliverables.
• Coordinate permitting for large and complex development projects.
• Meet with clients and assist with the preparation of project proposals.
• Delegate design assignments to junior engineers and drafters.
• Mentor junior staff across stormwater, utility and erosion-control design.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and regulatory submissions.
