Job summary

The Thrasher Group North Carolina seeks an experienced Project Manager for the Land Development team in Gastonia, NC. You will lead projects from concept to completion, manage all aspects of project delivery, and contribute to business development.

The ideal candidate has a ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering and PE licensure, with 5–15 years of land development experience. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited university required; PE licensure is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preparation of construction plans; perform or review calculations for design, grade lines, alignments, and drainage.
• Oversee plans for permitting and construction of land development projects, including design, layout, grading, drainage, and E&S controls.
• Mentor junior staff and support their professional growth.
• Assist clients with bidding and construction administration.
• Coordinate with construction inspection personnel and review daily field reports to ensure design intent.
• Manage all aspects of project delivery including client communication, financial management, and team coordination.
• Participate in business development activities including client meetings, proposals, RFQ submissions, and strategic planning.
