Job description

A growing civil engineering consultancy is seeking a Project Engineer with 5+ years of experience in land development to join their collaborative team. This position involves contributing to a range of site development projects through design, documentation, permitting, and coordination with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design site layouts, grading plans, stormwater systems, and utilities using Civil 3D.
  • Prepare construction documents, drainage reports, and permit submittals (including SWPPPs).
  • Attend municipal meetings and support the project approval process.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and outside consultants.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to project scheduling and deadline management.
  • Support client communication and uphold project quality standards.
Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of site or land development experience.
  • PE license
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Solid understanding of stormwater design, grading, and utility layout.
