Job summary

Alexander Associates Technical Recruitment seeks an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our Houston team, leading the delivery of commercial and residential land development projects. You will own project design, coordinate engineering teams, and build client relationships within a collaborative leadership environment.

You’ll guide scoping, schedules, and technical submissions, and may act as Engineer of Record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Texas PE license or actively pursuing one.
• Experience in civil engineering project management.
• Background in commercial or residential land/site development.
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, storm water, utilities and pavement design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering design and delivery of civil construction drawings, specifications and reports.
• Develop project design approaches and oversee engineering deliverables.
• Manage project coordination, schedules and technical resources.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects, developing client relationships and working alongside an experienced team of Principals, Project Managers and Design Engineers.

You'll have the opportunity to influence project design, lead engineering teams and play an important role in delivering successful developments.
