I’m recruiting for a Houston civil engineering firm looking to add a Project Engineer to its residential land development team.

If you have experience designing subdivisions, enjoy hands‑on technical work and want more responsibility on projects, I’d be happy to tell you more. Experienced EITs and licensed PEs are both encouraged to apply.

What you’ll work on

• Residential subdivisions and master‑planned communities across Greater Houston.
• Grading, drainage, paving, storm sewer, water and sanitary sewer design.
• Civil 3D design, construction plans and engineering calculations.
• Permitting, agency review comments and plan revisions.
• Taking ownership of assigned design work, with support from project managers and the wider team.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3+ years of land development experience.
• Residential subdivision or master‑planned community design experience.
• EIT certification or a Texas PE license.
• Houston‑area experience, including MUD projects and local design criteria, is a strong plus.

You don’t need to be a Project Manager. This role is suited to engineers who enjoy design and want to progress toward their PE or take on broader project responsibilities.

The position is fully onsite in Houston, with a base salary of $85,000–$120,000 depending on relevant experience, technical capability and licensure.
